Book Review - The lost Symbol
Well, I must say writing about something which is already well known and
internationally acclaimed is very tough. I just joined blogging ; was wondering what
would be my very first blog.
And at the same I am reading a book. So I thought I will start my blogging by writing review about that book. The book is none other than The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown.

I am not an avid reader. But I like to read sometimes. I came across
this book many times. So this time I finally I thought I will read this time
for sure. It took me two weeks to complete this. I started just to kill the time but I must say
interest went on and on with every page. This book like other books of Dan
Brown is a masterstroke of storytelling – a deadly race through real world
labyrinth of codes, puzzles, unseen truth and reveals forgotten histories. It is a thriller set in Washington, D.C., after the events
of The Da Vinci Code,
and relies on Freemasonry.
I must say, this book is a desperate attempt to ingratiate youself
with the Masons, religion and symbols. Also explains about Noetic
Science, Breathable oxygenated liquid, House of temple, Bible, Hand of
mysteries Bhagwat Gita, Karamas. Some of the lines I really liked and would
like to share with all of you.
For instance, every religion
consists of three things A (Assure), B (Believe) and C (Convert) so we can say
that is the ABC of every religion. Secondly, Knowledge is good it is under
right hand (in context with freemasonry), other it is of no use.
The Lost Symbol accelerates through a startling landscape
toward an unthinkable finale. At last , I would say Mr. Brown has mastered the art of blending nail-biting
suspense with random arcana (from pop science to religion).
Overall, reading this book was very nice experience. At last, all i can say is i am desperately waiting for
the movie based on this novel. Expecting to be released by end of this year.
